A slow weekly photo game
Thing of the Week is a slow photo game for friends, families, and communities. Each round someone in the group takes on the role of Chair and picks a theme, then everyone has ten days to photograph something fitting the theme out in the world. The Chair then chooses their favourite response, and the winner becomes the next round's Chair.
Who saw the best beetle? How about cityscapes, or flowers?
How it works
How a week goes
- 1Make or join a groupBring in friends and family, or join a public group.
- 2The Chair picks the themeMaybe "leaf of the week", maybe "best doorway". Whatever suits the group.
- 3Everyone has ten daysKeep an eye out as you go about your week, then submit one photo.
- 4The Chair picks a winnerOne favourite from everything the group submitted.
- 5The winner takes the ChairThey set next week's theme, and it carries on from there.
